The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide has declared Friday the 23rd September, 2016 public holiday in solidarity for the immediate release of their leader, Maazi Nnamdi Kanu who has been under the detention of the Nigeria Government.
The directorates of the sovereign States of Biafra has sent a signal to all the IPOB members in Nigeria to observe a 'Sit At Home Rally' while the 'Free Nnamdi Kanu' heavy protest takes place outside Nigeria in over 90 countries of the world.
Speaking through the IPOB spokespersons, Mr. Clifford Chukwuemeka Iroanya and Emma Mmezu, orders that all the shops, markets, churches, schools and other establishments in South-South and South-East be shutdown as their protest takes effect on the 23rd of September, 2016. IPOB members in Nigeria are warned to remain indoors on that day.
