Wole Soyinka has stated the reason why he went for a visit to the presidential villa to meet with the Nigerian president, Mohammadu Buhari.
The African Nobel laureate, Wole Soyinka said that his private meeting with president Buhari on Thursday was to discuss national and international matters, general matters. This he had said to the journalists after the meeting and refused to entertain more questions at that point until his press conference in about a week time.
“You can ask me any question then, but now, please I will just like to get away,” He uttered.
