Following the recent attack on her visit to US last week which was alleged that she deliberately did to underscore Fayose's claims that she can never set foot in America for her involvement in bribery scandal.

The wife of the Nigerian president, Mrs Aisha Buhari was on Saturday said that her reason for embarking on the US Trip was to hold a meeting with the aid organisations on how to assist the women and children of the North-Eastern part of Nigeria that are facing starvation.
In an interview with the Hausa service of the Voice Of America (VOA) Aisha spoke..... “Our children in the various camps are in dire situation and the government alone cannot do it, we have to get help"
Aisha further said her meeting with the officials of the aid organisations was also on high rate of death of the children between the ages of 5 months and 7 years caused by hunger-related disease.
She also said that cash is not the necessary thing now but as a matter of urgency to set up a manufacturing plant in Nigeria that can be producing these packages which the United Nations International Children Fund (UNICEF ) had been aiding them with.
“It often takes between 6-8 weeks for these things to be shipped to Nigeria, before they arrive, many children would have died, so I suggested to them to set up the manufacturing plant in the country if they really want to help us ,” she added.
