Tension As Dr. Samson Ogah Receives Certificate Of Return

Heavy tension in Abia state as Dr. Samson Ogah receives certificate of return by the INEC.

The ruling of the Federal High Court Abuja was on  Monday 27th June, 2016 ordered Gov. Ikpeazu To vacate the office as the Governor of Abia state while Dr. Samson Ogah assumes office with immediate effect after he was alleged to be guilty of tax evasion.

Gov. Ikpeazu on his own side made an appeal concerning his case stating that it is not in the jurisdiction of the Federal High Court Abuja to relieve him of his post as the Executive Governor of Abia state.  Just in it was reported that Dr. Samson Ogah has been issued a certificate of return by the INEC to take over the office of the Governor from Gov. Ikpeazu.
