Court Orders Gov. Ikpeazu To Vacate Office

Really a sad one for Gov. Ikpeazu of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) as he was instructed by the court to step down as the Executive Governor of Abia state while a certificate of return is issued to Dr. Samson Oga by the Independent National Electoral Commission with immediate effect.

Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu was ordered by the Federal High Court Abuja to vacate the office following an alleged false information that he submitted to his party, People's Democratic Party during their primaries in 2014.

Justice Okon Abang declared Gov. Ikpeazu's victory void and that the complainant,  Dr. Samson Oga is giving a Certificate of return by the INEC.
