MTN Nigeria Debunks Rumors Of Staff Dismissal

There seems to be an information which went viral on the net that the Nigeria's largest communication network, MTN is dismissing their staffs and contractors. According to the news from Abuja it was revealed that no such thing happened.
A statement by the Company reads... “It has come to our attention that inaccurate information is currently being circulated on social media, alleging plans by MTN Nigeria to dismiss 6 000 employees, starting with call centre staff,"

The Company went further to states...."What this means is that our call centre, which was already outsourced several years ago, will now be managed by a new vendor,”
