Actor Muna Obiekwe propelled to limelight courtesy of a wonderful flick titled "Across The Border".
"The Cat" and "Eagles Bride" also made him more popular and gave a total conviction that Muna was well to do with other professionals in the likes of Ramsey Noah, Emeka Ike, Saint Obi, Charlse Okafor etc.
"He Lives In Me" proved that Muna was truly a born actor and was done on everyone that he was the real stuff the market has been waiting for. He kept it real. Though I wasn't opportuned to come in contact with him but I've seen him some years back cruising in a black 190 Mercedez benz, I just had this conclusion that Muna Obiekwe was a nice person in real life from his gentle and innocent look.
"Dirty Secret" and "Men In Love" he did generated a whole lot of controversies but make-believe is always a make-believe even though those movies are somehow dirty. I love Muna and bought his movies to keep a strong picture of his face in my memory because his action in movies delights my heart. I felt more happier as he became hotter and hotter in the movie posters and for the fact that he represented Nollywood to the fullest made me to like him the more. Be it Love, action, epic or what have you Muna is ready to deliver. He was so wonderful to a fault. A genius so to speak. I can go on and on to speak his truth but for lack of time or perhaps not to digress much I will simply put it up to everyone that Muna was a perfect actor, wonderful being, a rare gem and doesn't deserve to die. But who am I to question God. Muna Obiekwe might be dead but his movies and legacy lives on.
Rest in peace my actor and stay comfortable with the Lord. Until we see to part no more... GOODBYE!
